Terms of use

These terms describe use of StorySpool's private-beta creation service. Review them together with our Privacy policy. By using StorySpool's YouTube integration, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. StorySpool is independent of Google and YouTube.

Account access and the private beta

Access is limited to approved accounts. New public registration is closed. Keep your account credentials private and connect only channels you own or are authorized to manage. Do not bypass account restrictions, impersonate another person, or use repeated accounts or channel connections to evade limits.

The current customer workflow is article-based short creation and YouTube publishing. Selected founder test accounts have additional AI-topic, AI-video and time-limited automation controls. Access to a test feature does not promise future availability or a particular paid plan.

Content, sources and rights

You are responsible for your submitted sources, instructions and published videos. Submit only material you have the right to use and authorize StorySpool and its service providers to process that material as needed to create, store, preview and publish your requested output. This does not transfer ownership of your original material to StorySpool.

A publicly accessible article is not permission to copy its protected text, images, voice or likeness. Source attribution does not replace permission or an applicable legal exception. Review the rights and applicable license conditions for your chosen footage and other materials.

Do not use StorySpool for unlawful content, infringement, harassment, deceptive impersonation, exploitation, spam or attempts to evade safety checks. We may limit or suspend access to investigate abuse, protect the service or comply with provider requirements.

AI-generated scripts, voices, captions and visuals may contain mistakes or invented details. Stock footage and generated scenes are illustrative and may not depict the actual person, place or event discussed. Check the final video and source before publishing. Generated output is not guaranteed to be accurate, unique, eligible for copyright protection or suitable for monetization.

YouTube publishing and automation

Connecting YouTube authorizes the permissions shown by Google. Creating a draft or selecting Make Video does not by itself authorize a manual upload. Use the publishing control to approve the upload and its available visibility setting. YouTube may restrict visibility or remove content under its own rules.

For founder automation, saving an explicitly approved run authorizes creation and uploads within that run's settings and limits without reviewing each video. You remain responsible for those outputs. You can pause a run, but provider work or an upload already submitted may complete after a pause, cancellation or deletion request.

StorySpool may include the source URL, generated descriptive text, attribution and a StorySpool closing clip in the video or upload metadata. Review the preview and metadata before manual publishing; these elements also apply to approved automated runs. StorySpool does not guarantee upload timing, uninterrupted authorization, audience growth or revenue.

Disconnecting StorySpool does not remove videos already uploaded. Manage their visibility or delete them through YouTube.

Charges and provider usage

The current private beta does not accept subscription payments and has no automatic subscription renewal. Plan displays and generation estimates are not an active checkout. Approved founder provider usage and the operator's cloud hosting can still incur third-party charges; a failed operation may also incur provider costs.

Any customer paid release requires separate, clearly disclosed pricing, billing, cancellation and refund terms before a purchase is enabled. Report an unexpected charge through support with a receipt reference, not complete card details.

Availability and changes

This is a developing service. Features can change or be unavailable, and AI, hosting and platform services can fail or change their requirements. Keep your own copies of important output. StorySpool does not guarantee uninterrupted service or successful publication. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.

To request account deletion, use Accounts → Request account deletion or contact support if you cannot sign in. Requests are verified and processed manually; submitting a request is not immediate erasure. See the Privacy policy for disconnection, retention and deletion details.

Changes to these terms will be dated on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the application or account email where appropriate.
